Jo visits the Prescott family in Hesperia, California where she works with one of her largest families ever. Kadi (28) & Daniel (30) have seven kids: 8-year-old daughter Marli, 7-year-old son Daniel, 6-year-old son Trenton, 5-year-old son Phillip, 3-year-old son Aiden, 2-year-old daughter Ella and 1-year-old son Reed.
With dad at work all day, former cheerleader Kadi is a stay at home mom with all 7 of her children. At home, Kadi loses her temper too much with her kids due to being so stressed out. In addition, she and her husband rely on their oldest daughter, Marli to be a "mini-mom" (according to Jo), giving her the most responsibilities out of all the children.
Meanwhile, their 7-year-old son Daniel has been diagnosed with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (also known as ADHD) which makes it difficult to control or discipline him, and Kadi's temper does not make it any better.
It is also revealed that Kadi doesn't have any close friends and feels lonely & isolated, Jo also learns about the estranged & emotionally distant relationship between Kadi and her father. Kadi's father left when she was 13 years old after revealing that he was a homosexual, and her husband Daniel is reluctant for the family to have a close relationship with him.
Can Jo help Kadi learn to build a support system, teach the Prescotts how to manage Daniel's ADHD and help the family mend the relationship with Kadi's father?
